Laguna Seca, located in Monterey, Calif., hosts a number of sports car races including the Intercontinental GT Challenge California 8 Hours, and rounds of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Pirelli World Challenge. The five-year deal was announced two weeks ago and came into effect yesterday, April 1, with the Illinois-based company replacing Mazda as the track’s title sponsor. The logo for the newly renamed WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca has been revealed following last month’s announcement of the automotive floor mat manufacturer’s title sponsorship deal with the circuit.
